Swedish company Modvion believes it has found a greener alternative — building turbine towers from wood. Leaning for centuries at a worrisome tilt, the Garisenda Tower in Bologna has endured insults and trauma. Amazon is resuming construction on a 42-story office tower in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue, the company said Thursday, after 22 floors of the building sat unfinished since 2022.
